The notary public program assists individuals who are required by their department to become a notary. The notary program coordinator guides the applicant through the process and provides information for the applicant's successful commission.
The notary program is also responsible for and operates by recruitment; however, it is not responsible for payment of any fees outside of its program recruitment.
To learn more about becoming a UC San Diego notary public, read the Policy and Procedure Manual, section 470-5 (PDF), Supplement I: Guidelines for Becoming a Notary Public.
For assistance or more information about finding or becoming a notary, contact Erik Teel, (858) 534-9922.
