Campus Notices
Campus notices are the official means through which leadership communicates with the campus community at large. The following subject matter is appropriate for a campus notice:
- Employment-related information: Salary, benefits, training/development programs, recognition/awards programs
- Policies/Regulations: Campus, UC systemwide and federal
- Special campus events: All events that allow administrative time off, e.g., pancake breakfast, annual staff picnic, etc.
- Appointments: Chancellor's office, management staff, vice chancellors/directors/deans or heads of professional schools
- Certain accounting, purchasing and administrative systems matters
- Safety/Security matters
The campus mail database automatically generates campus notice mailing lists. While you are affiliated with the university, you will receive email sent to these mailing lists. You cannot subscribe to, or unsubscribe from, these lists. If you are no longer affiliated with UC San Diego, contact the Postmaster for removal.
